American Heart Association Western, NY Region

The American Heart Association is a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, including here in Western New York. Through events like CycleNation, the Go Red for Women Luncheon, and the WNY Wellness Summit we are helping our community get moving and get healthy. We help our community eat healthier by working with local school districts like Niagara Falls City School District to bring healthy food home to families. For the past 20 years we have worked with healthcare providers across WNY, supplying their care teams with the latest clinical treatment guidelines, with the goal of helping them provide their patients with quality care. We advocate for healthier policies in our communities and at the state and national levels, and we are the largest funder of cardiovascular and stroke research outside of the federal government.
