We’re Precious Paws Rescue, a no-kill, 100% volunteer-run, non-profit cat & kitten rescue shelter based right here in Western New York.

We rescue the most vulnerable – stray cats, expectant moms, and orphaned cats & kittens who need a second chance. Our work includes rescuing, feeding, housing, providing medical care, vaccinating, spaying/neutering, socializing, and finding loving fur-ever homes for every cat & kitten we can reach.

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, we rely entirely on donations and community fundraising to make this possible. Every dollar donated goes directly to helping the hundreds of homeless cats & kittens we care for across our community.

There are NO paid staff and NO government funding – just passionate WNY’ers volunteering and giving their time, hearts, and homes to make a difference.

Precious Paws Rescue – Giving WNY’s cats and kittens a second chance!

Precious Paws Rescue is a no-kill, 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue charity based in Western New York.

Our mission focuses on helping the most vulnerable – stray cats, expectant mothers, and orphaned kittens born outdoors. By rescuing them early, we can provide lifesaving care, prevent future litters, and give each cat the chance to grow up safe, socialized, and ready for a loving forever home.

Many of the cats we rescue require intensive, hands-on care – whether it's bottle-feeding orphaned kittens through the night, providing pregnant moms with nutritious food, medical support, and a safe space to give birth and raise their babies, or patiently gaining the trust of frightened strays who have never known kindness. Once healthy and socialized, all are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and matched with loving forever homes. Every one of them matters to us.

We have no paid staff, no government funding, no marketing team, and no formal outreach committee. We are a small but dedicated group of volunteers – neighbors, parents, professionals – who give our time outside of work and family to do as much as we can, with the resources we have. Every post you see, every cat we rescue, and every life saved is thanks to the heart and hustle of volunteers who care deeply.
