Ralph Wilson Park isn’t just a park—it’s a promise kept.

Over 18 months, thousands of Buffalonians came together to imagine what a world-class public space could look like on our waterfront at the former La Salle park. Families, elders, teens, and neighbors rolled up their sleeves and helped design a place that reflects the heart and dreams of Buffalo.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation and a coalition of partners, including NYS, the DEC, EPA, Great Lake Commission, over $200 million has been invested to bring that community vision to life. Ralph Wilson Park is now one of the most ambitious urban parks projects in the nation—a bold commitment to equity, beauty, and public space for all.

But a great park doesn’t sustain itself.

Clean bathrooms, safe paths, lush landscapes, family events, music, and movie nights—these are only possible with ongoing community support.

The City of Buffalo will do its part. But for Ralph Wilson Park to remain the extraordinary place we dreamed of, we need you.

Your support powers the people and programs that keep this park clean, safe, and alive with activity—today and for generations to come.

This park was built by the community. Now it must be sustained by the community.
