Give 716 2026 kicks off on July 15. Between now and then, here is how to set your organization up for its best day yet.
Add your logo, a compelling hero photo, and the story of why your work matters. This is the first thing donors will see. Organizations with complete, photo-rich profiles typically raise significantly more than those without.
What makes a great profile? Show your impact in pictures. Use photos of real people, not just logos. Write your story like you are talking to one person, not a crowd.
Your goal appears on your public page and creates urgency — donors respond when they can see progress toward a target. Not sure what to set? We share benchmarks based on organizations your size during our June webinars.
Rule of thumb: Start with 20% more than you raised last year, or $5,000 if this is your first time.
If your board or a major donor is willing to match gifts, you can configure a multiplier (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1) up to a maximum pool amount. When donors see "Your gift is tripled right now," they give more and give faster.
Before the event goes live, review your page exactly as donors will see it. Check your photo, your story, your goal, and your impact metrics. You can make edits at any time before July 15.
Share a preview link with your board or a trusted donor before launch and ask: "Would you give to this?" Their answer will tell you everything.
The organizations that raise the most on Give 716 Day are the ones that have already warmed up their audience. Send your email list a save-the-date. Post on social. Ask a board member to create a personal fundraising page. The 24 hours matter, but the two weeks before them matter just as much.
