Angel Gowns of WNY was founded in April 2014 by Missy Ray. It was her vision to form an organization which gives back to her community. In September 2014 Angel Gowns received its 501-(c) (3) non-profit incorporation. In our first year we have created over 1200 Angel Gowns. We supply over 50 facilities with our Angel Gowns and that number is continually growing. We have shipped Angel Gowns out of state, over night, to individual families who have suffered the loss of their baby. In April of 2017 Susan Lawkowski became the 2nd President of Angel Gowns of WNY.

Every year in the USA alone, over 626,000 babies are born through still birth or miscarriage. That’s more than one baby every minute that doesn’t get to go home with his or her parents.

It is our mission to provide a beautiful, one of a kind, Angel Gown to every baby that needs one. What a special way to honor their precious lives and to provide love and compassion for their parents whose arms, and lives, are left empty by their loss.
