Since 2009, the Bread of Life Outreach Center has been a beacon of compassion and support for families in need across southern Erie County. Powered entirely by volunteers, we provide essential resources to residents of Aurora, Boston, Colden, Concord, Holland, and parts of Sardinia—thanks to the generosity of donors like you.

At the heart of our mission is our dignity-driven Food Pantry, designed to look and feel like a grocery store, allowing individuals and families to choose the food that best meets their needs—rather than receiving a pre-packed bag. This thoughtful model empowers our members and restores a sense of normalcy during times of struggle.

In 2024, your support helped us provide:

1. 35,775 meals to over 200 families
2. 4,729 visits to our Mobile Food Pantry
3. 89 filled backpacks for school-aged children
4. 32 warm winter sets (coats, boots, hats, mittens)
5. Holiday support: 50 Easter meals, 124 Thanksgiving meals, 123 Christmas meals, and 275 Christmas gifts
6. $14,990 in clothing allowances through Gabe’s on the Hill, our community thrift store

We also offer year-round access to:

1. A 24/7 emergency outdoor food cupboard
2. Free books through our Little Library
3. A seasonal health fair and case worker services
4. Educational and recreational programs
5. Student volunteer opportunities

As a 100% donation-funded organization, every dollar you give directly supports local families through food assistance, clothing, emergency relief, and community-building programs.
