Transforming the historic Buffalo Central Terminal into a lasting cultural and economic hub.
Founded in 1997 by dedicated preservationists, the CTRC has cared for the Buffalo Central Terminal for over 25 years with the steadfast and generous support of scores of volunteers.
A generational investment. Years of planning with the community have shaped a shared vision to transform Buffalo Central Terminal into a new kind of connective force. Game-changing investment from the East Side Avenues initiative in 2019 and the Regional Revitalization Partnership in 2021 has enabled us to build unprecedented momentum for reuse of the Buffalo Central Terminal.
A new kind of connective force. As we chart a new course for the Terminal’s future, we are rekindling our community’s connection to this special landmark. Our FREE community arts and cultural events bring Buffalonians from all walks of life together over arts and culture, food, recreation and fitness, markets, and seasonal activities. From our signature concert series to family movie nights, last year’s events at the Terminal drew over 8,000 residents and visitors alike.
This year the Buffalo Central Terminal will again host a series of FREE community events on the historic Lawn, including a 4-Part Summer Concert Series, 3-part Health is Wealth Series, Shakespeare in the Park, Family Movie Night, Car Show, Back to School Giveaway, Trunk-or-Treat, Fall Fest, and more.
Building Momentum Together.
The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation (CTRC) is driven by the mission to develop the Buffalo Central Terminal – a majestic historic landmark – as a lasting cultural and economic hub for the community.
