Compass House

We provide shelter and services to both male and female youth ages 12-17. We have a 13 bed Emergency Shelter and each resident is assigned a case manager to work on their case with them. The Shelter is free, voluntary and is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our Safe Place program enables youth to access services throughout Erie county at all Tops Markets as well as any NFTA buses. The estimated number of clients served in our Emergency Shelter and Resource Center is 700 per year.

The mission of Compass House is to provide safe shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth in an atmosphere supporting the dignity, respect and self-sufficiency of each youth.
