Our Programs

Individual and Group Wishes

Throughout the year we grant wishes to seniors such as visiting a family member who lives out of town, spending the day engaged in a hobby again, or attending a sporting or cultural event. Group wishes include ice cream socials, or any wish that is for more than one person, (ie, games for a senior apt complex).

Veteran Hero Boxes

We love to grant wishes to Veterans anytime; however, we especially love to celebrate them during Veterans’ Week. In 2023, we delivered HERO boxes to 105 local Veterans, including TWELVE WWII Veterans. Each of them received a box of patriotic items and an Eagle blanket, and we were blessed with hearing their stories. For some of these Veterans, it was the first time they were ever recognized for their service. Each one of them is truly a HERO. 

Century Club

Senior Wishes honors senior residents of Western New York who are turning 100 years of age or older with our Century Club. Each honoree will receive a special framed certificate to celebrate becoming a Centenarian.

Simple Wishes for the Holidays

In 2023, we adopted every resident from Fiddler’s Green Nursing Home in Springville, NY. In addition, we provided gifts to over 70 isolated seniors throughout Western NY. The gift bags included an item requested by the senior with a value up to $50, as well as a blanket, stuffed animal, puzzle books, socks, and outerwear.  Gift requests are listed on an Amazon Wish List and our supporters purchase the gifts. It is so heartwarming to watch a senior realize they were not forgotten, as for many it is the only gift they may receive.
