Improving the quality of life for children with cancer through year-round programming and summer camping sessions.
Camp Good Days, established in 1979, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer through summer camping experiences and year-round events and activities. We assist children with cancer, and children who have, or have lost, a parent or sibling with cancer. All of the programs and services provided by Camp Good Days are offered free of charge for the participants, which is only possible through the generosity of individuals and organizations in our WNY community. Without this support, our Camp would cease to exist and children with cancer would not experience the sense of hope, courage and limitless amounts of fun we provide.
Throughout the year, activities we provide include theme park, laser tag and snow tubing outings, miniature golf, bowling and holiday parties, sporting and concert events…the list goes on and on. These events give children dealing with cancer something FUN to look forward to. At the same time, the campers build meaningful friendships – allowing for valuable time with others experiencing the same incredible challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis.
The mission of Camp Good Days & Special Times is to enrich the lives of children, adults and families who have been impacted by cancer, through summer recreational camping experiences and year-round support services, provided free of charge.
