Never Choose A Permanent Solution For A Temporary Problem
Our goal is to empower, enable and encourage students to pursue higher education, persevering through all life's circumstances. Our fund has given over $50,000 in scholarships to students pursuing trade or technical degrees in memory of Greg.
Greg was a talented young man who had dreams of one day attending college and becoming a welder. From an early age Greg was an active young man, who developed a love for hockey and soccer. Despite being told by doctors that he would never be coordinated enough to excel at sports, Greg was determined to be successful and compete at the highest level. Greg became a NYS champion goaltender in hockey (age 10) and a 2nd team all-star on the high school varsity soccer team as a sophomore. Just as Greg persevered in sports, he also worked hard in the classroom and was a honor roll student. Greg had a love for the outdoors that he incorporated into papers and projects that enabled others to get to know Greg and see his passion for hunting, making maple syrup, woodworking, 4-wheeling, and more. Greg had a smile that was contagious; he was proud to be following in the footsteps of his dad and would be honored to help others accomplish their dreams.
