Returning the love, Building the future.
The Peruvian Outreach Project currently has three projects running: the Children’s Center for Integrated Service, the Aldea Orphanage and Hogar Hermelinda.
The Children’s Center for Integrated Services is a partnered project between the Peruvian Outreach Project and Illary Sumaq, a nonprofit. The CCIS project is for children aged three to twelve, who have learning disabilities. This project is located in Trujillo, Peru. The CCIS program will provide individual and group sessions to strengthen students’ educational and social skills. The goal of these sessions is to help the participants improve skills, express emotions, and make connections. This project was started in 2025.
POP has helped the Aldea Orphanage by improving broken playground equipment, set up a sewing workshop and a bakery, and an on-site medical clinic. With the sewing workshop, the children learn new skills that can help them in the future. Also, there is a music shop for the children to learn how to play instruments and they have fun taking weekly music lessons. POP helps with the annual Christmas party that is held there and provides gifts for the children. There are three new computers for the on-site school at the Aldea Orphanage. This project was started in 2020.
The Hogar Hermelinda is a support and housing program to help young women be able to attend university. Many women do not have the resources or the support to continue their education. The first group of six participants are studying to become nurses and will be graduating in 2025. This project was started in 2022.
We would like to thank everyone that supports our projects! You can follow our progress with each project on our website or on our social media accounts.
