Springville Youth Inc

Our mission statement only just touches on the reach we have to our local youth. Since 1940, Springville Youth Incorporated has been providing youth recreational services for the Town of Concord and Village of Springville. We have expanded to include the entire Springville-Griffith school district that encompasses parts of the Towns of Boston, Colden, Collins, and West Valley.From our youth soccer and baseball leagues to youth employment opportunities for referees, umpires, and lifeguards, Springville Youth Inc. is an organization that provides safe and fun recreational activities and imparts sportsmanship and life skills to develop our children into well-balanced members of our community.

The Club of Springville (now the SYI Recreation Center) merged with Springville Youth Inc. in January of 2022. While we had connected with elementary and middle school children that chose to participate in our programs at the Springville Youth Inc. Recreation Center, the two organizations now collaborate to provide other sporting options.

At the Springville Youth Inc. Recreation Center location on Maple Ave, we offer a large variety of programs from before and after school programs for school-aged children to evening programs such as Friday Fun Nights for “parents” night out.The building itself is exciting for kids with pool tables, media rooms, a small gym and a small snack kitchen.The biggest program run out of the Recreation Center is our Summer Camp program. We are excited to have such a phenomenal staff that curates outdoor programs, community service and field trips throughout the summer which provides endless fun for the kids and sure to be amazing memories!

At our Springville Youth Inc. facility on South Buffalo Street, you will find our community pool which offers many different levels of swim lessons, open swim sessions, Aqua Fit classes and lap swim sessions at very affordable prices. There is also a playground open to the public, a large and recently resurfaced basketball court with 4 baskets providing multiple game options, a GaGa ball pit, a covered patio area with picnic tables and our newly opened Snack Shack offering very affordable drinks, snacks and ice cream options during the summer! SYI also offers summer basketball, soccer, and volleyball camps as well as other activity options at this location!

In addition to the programs offered at our facilities, we also collaborate with the Springville-Griffith School District and Town of Concord to utilize their fields to host soccer and baseball programs for youth aged from 4 to 16. We also utilize the school’s gym facilities to offer our winter and spring basketball league. We provide lifeguard/supervision at the Village of Springville Splash Pad on Franklin St, and lifeguarding duties during winter family swim sessions at the Springville-Griffith High School pool.

We are always open to adding new programming and welcome anyone with ideas to join in our conversations at every monthly Board meeting. As a Board, we are proud of the success we have had within our community for such a long period of time. As much as we try to reach the youth of the Springville/Concord area, they reach us too and touch our hearts, they just don’t know it!
