5 Loaves And 2 Fish Outreach Ministry Inc

5&2 is a back-pack ministry that was started in Clymer, NY in 2016. The story of Jesus feeding the 5000 with 5 fish and 2 loaves of bread was our inspiration. Currently, we send bags of food home on Fridays to elementary kids in Bemus Point, Clymer, Jamestown (Ring Elementary), Panama and Sherman. We are packing about 1100 bags a month for just Clymer, Panama and Sherman. Bemus Point has their own storage and packing at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Bemus Point, NY. Ring Elementary utilizes space generously provided by the Jamestown Post Journal. We are praying, planning and fundraising to expand in Jamestown, NY. 5&2 expanded and opened a brand new warehouse/storage facility in the fall of 2019, provided by Heil Transportation. 5&2 is a back-pack ministry that was started in Clymer, NY in 2016. Our Mission is to fight childhood hunger, one child at a time, in Chautauqua County by sending bags of food home with children weekly during the school year. We also support summer school and library after-school programs. We are an opt-out program and there are no income requirements. We continue to grow each year and are a completely volunteer based ministry that aims to provide 25,000 bags of food this school year.
