Wisdom Farm

It all began with our Founder observing how much better a traumatic brain injured patient functioned and communicated when in the presence of horses. That transitioned so easily to helping Veterans dealing with PTSD and children who truly benefited from reading to our animals

At Wisdom Farm we take unwanted , abused, neglected or retired horses. With loving care and encouragement, along with customized nutrition plans, these horses blossom and become the most amazing partners in our collaborative workshops for returning Veterans, along with our children's reading program.

We are a not-for-profit organization and with donations from caring people, we hope to continue making these services free to our veterans and all who participate. To do that we need donations to help fund these programs.
