Serving the needs of our older population for over 74 years!
Founded in 1951 by a handful of dedicated volunteers, The Dale Association began with the belief that as people age, they need to be involved with life to remain health, active and fulfilled. Named in honor of Elizabeth "Betty" Dale, our first paid Senior Centre Executive Director, we are now a comprehensive human services agency offering a variety of specialized programs and services for adults of all ages. Guided by a Board of Trustees, our professional staff delivers our mission to a broad and diverse audience. In 2019 we proudly served more than 11,900 people through our senior services and nearly 900 individuals through our mental health services. As a not-for-profit (501c-3) human services agency, The Dale Association receives support from charitable gifts and from the following foundations and groups: Senior Services, Caregiver Support Services and Intergenerational Programs receive funding from Niagara County Office for the Aging, United Way of Greater Niagara County, Town of Lockport, Town of Cambria, Grigg-Lewis Foundation, Niagara Area Foundation, Lion's Club(s), Odd Fellows and Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. Mental Health Services receive support from the New York State Office of Mental Health and Niagara County Department of Mental Health. For more information, please visit: www.daleassociation.com
