Encompass Animal Care and Health was founded in 2021 and began business after Dr. Andrea Yowpa decided she wished to continue her mission of helping animals in her own practice. Dr. Yowpa has always wanted to be a veterinarian since she was very young. She first worked in private practice when she moved to Buffalo and then joined a non-profit as an an associate. She realized she had her own vision for helping those animals in need and decided to start her own non-profit practice. She wished to offer rescue groups, needful individuals and veterans a way to care for their animals at lower cost but with high quality. We believe that Encompass is one of the few woman-run and owned non-profit veterinary clinics in the state and definitely in Western NY. We partner with any non-profit looking for assistance and work together with other non-profit veterinary clinics in the area to provide the best care to our clients.

Encompass is devoted to using our medical knowledge and resources to assist rescue organizations in giving all pets a healthy life. We are compelled to treat each pet as our own. Together, we can build a healthy foundation of medical care in which EACH pet thrives.
