About Jewish Family Services of Western New York
JFS seeks to improve the quality of life for those we serve; to achieve a level of stability and resilience for individuals and families who need it most. We are Mensches, offering a hand to those facing barriers that prevent them from realizing their potential.
Our programs include behavioral health services, for children and adults, care coordination, social care & housing navigation via the 1115 Waiver program, career services, family support services, and more.
As our newest program, our Housing Navigation services provide clients who are enrolled in Medicaid with pre-tenancy support, assistance as they look for housing, and services to ensure the stability of their tenancy once they have moved into their new home.
Many clients need basic supplies as they set up their new home, and this year your donation allows us to purchase essential items for members of our community as they move into new homes.
- $10 can cover a client's basic toiletry needs
- $25 covers the cost of stocking cleaning supplies in a client's cupboard
- $50 can purchase a crisp, fresh, set of sheets
- $100 can help a client get a rug for their living room
