Niagara Hospice provides specialized end-of-life care and personalized support to Niagara County patients, families and caregivers faced with any type of terminal illness. The organization's mission is to deliver comprehensive symptom management to patients and caregiver relief to families. The clinical staff, consisting of doctors, nurses, social workers, aides and volunteers, provides physical, emotional and spiritual care services to improve quality of life and help families maximize their time together.

Patients are eligible to receive hospice care with a prognosis of six months or less, or up to 12 months for those who receive strictly Medicaid. Most patients and families receive care in their homes. The organization also has partnerships with skilled nursing facilities to provide needed services to eligible patients wherever they live.

Thanks to a dedicated staff, volunteers and facility partners, Niagara Hospice is able to meet the increasing needs of the seriously ill and their families throughout Niagara County.
