Shea’s Performing Arts Center is more than a landmark it’s a living part of Buffalo’s cultural community. Located in the heart of the Theatre and Entertainement District, our campus of three historic venues brings Broadway hits, regional performances, and community driven collaborations to life on stage for thousands across Western New York.

But what happens offstage matters just as much.

Through year-round arts education programs, Shea’s reaches students across the region introducing young people to theater, storytelling, and the confidence that comes from creative expression. From student matinees to summer workshops to community performances, we believe everyone deserves access to the magic of live performance.

As we prepare to celebrate our Centennial in 2026, we’re building something extraordinary: the Elevate Shea’s Expansion Project a reimagining of the patron experience that will make Shea’s more accessible, welcoming, and dynamic than ever before.
