Spikes K9 Fund

We provide dogs with ballistic vests, heat alarm systems, eye protection, tracking harnesses, and other various safety equipment. also, we help cover the cost of veterinary expenses for dogs.

Spike's K9 Fund is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality training, care, and protection to both active and retired working dogs in the military, law enforcement, search and rescue, and other public safety organizations. Our founder, a retired Naval Special Warfare Operator (SEAL), K9 Handler, and Purple Heart recipient, has a deeply personal connection to this mission, having been saved multiple times by the K9s he worked with while on missions.

To date, we have assisted over 2,640 dogs across all 50 states with custom-fit ballistic vests, heat alarms, critical medical cost assistance, and training support. Notably, we have provided custom-fit K9 Storm vests to Buffalo PD, Lackawanna PD, and NFTA K9s, as well as heat alarms for Buffalo PD's K9 Unit. Despite our successes, there are over 25,000 working K9s in the United States, so our mission is far from complete.
