Justice League Of Wny Inc

The Justice League of WNY is a New York based 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to work together with local hospitals, charities, and community organizations to bring hope, confidence, and smiles to both kids and kids at heart.

Founded in July 2018 by 5 people who wanted to do more to brighten the lives of those in need, we’ve grown to over 50 members in our first 3 years. Whether it is a smile, hug, photo, or a simple conversation with a child, we are here to make a difference in their lives all through the power of cosplay. 

Our all-volunteer team of costumers, cosplayers, prop builders, and support people make appearances with numerous non-profit charities and community groups, helping provide both moral and sometimes financial support. We have been guests at comic conventions, hospitals, and community outreach events. We have worked with other charities such as the Down Syndrome Parents Group of Western New York, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Western New York Chapter, The ALS Association Upstate New York Chapter, Ride for Roswell, Sweet Buffalo and many more. We love putting smiles on the faces of people everywhere.

Some of our greatest memories are when a child’s face lights up meeting their heroes. We have had parents tell us how those meetings have had lasting effect, with a simple trading card becoming a cherished memento, or how a shy child came out of their shell. Hugs are awesome, and when a shy child runs across a room to tackle you with one, it’s an awesome thing for everyone.
