This past year has created an unprecedented time for our community and a critical gap in the services that local nonprofits are able provide in Western New York.&nbsp;In response to these challenges, the idea of Give 716 was born as a collaborative effort between the Buffalo Bills Foundation and Buffalo Sabres Foundation by using their collective resources for good.The goal of Give 716 is simple, to unite Bills and Sabres fans with the Western New York community in an epic day of giving!&nbsp;It also aims to bring awareness and develop deeper, more meaningful connections between nonprofits providing the vital supporting services to our community.Give 716 will bring together individuals, groups and businesses in support of any nonprofit headquartered in one of eight counties to include, Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua.&nbsp;Give 716 will provide a unique opportunity for this community to discover and support causes they are most passionate about while providing local nonprofits the opportunity to increase awareness, expand their donor database and funding.Nonprofits deliver for our community every day, so let’s come together as one team, for one day, and become a symbol of generosity not only for our local community, but for the world.Let’s Go Buffalo!

Fans & Individuals looking to participate on Give 716

For Donors

To be eligible to participate in Give 716, nonprofits must be qualified as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity in one of the following counties: Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Wyoming, Genesee, Orleans or Allegany county.<h3>WHAT YOU WILL NEED</h3>In order to make the process easier, please gather ALL required documents and information BEFORE starting your registration. In addition to basic information about your organization, its mission, and key contacts, please be prepared to provide:<ul><li>Your organization's IRS Determination Letter</li><li>Your organization's EIN number</li><li>If your EIN/nonprofit is already in the system, you will not be able to use this inquiry form and need to log into your existing account. For assistance, contact <a href="mailto:support@give716.org" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">support@give716.org</a>.</li><li>Your organization's most current year of completed financials such as the Form 990, Form 990-EZ, etc.</li></ul>We will review the information submitted to ensure your organization is a qualified 501(c)(3). If your organization is approved to participate, you will receive an email confirmation inviting you to login, connect your Stripe account and finish creating your profile!Important Note: We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and for any reason, to decline to permit any organization, regardless of its current 501(c)(3) status, to participate in Give 716.Email Reminder: We encourage you to use a 'name specific' or 'unique' email address and not a 'generic' email (for example: admin@, info@, events@, director@). Why? Our email system (MailChimp) will not send communication to these types of addresses and you will miss out on pertinent information you need to be successful with Give 716 fundraising.
