My Life Coach Academy's CARE Program is a home, school, and community-focused based program with specific goals to increase positive behaviors in schools and the communities in which the students live. The teaching and learning of the basic life skills that include time management, anger management, college, and career readiness, and self-care have had an amazing impact on the student population, teachers, staff, and parents of students at MLK Middle School. The CARE program's focus is to provide proactive and increased attention to the timeliness and access to college and career readiness opportunities that will counter the aspects of violence in low-income communities in which these students reside.
